anyway looked at my report
i had an old contract with 3 mobile which i refused to pay cause they wouldnt repair my phone, after they conned me out of paying over £80 for downloading a youtube video, the contract had about 2 month left on it and they have more than made there money from me - owed them £50 something pounds which has now being added £15 trace fee and sent to D CA
got credit report, quite shocked to see they put a red mark next to my name once a month for about the last 7 months

What do you mean by 'red mark' ?
The short answer is prob 'no', you clearly admit that you owe them money, hence its been noted on your credit report.
but surely they cannot ad defaults to my profile month after month even after the contract has ended

What exactly do you want ?. Your default removed ?.Thats not going to happen as you admit you owe them money, as unpleasant as CRAs are, they do have a purpose and in your case it may well be to tell future mobile companies not to start a contract with you becasuse there is a chance you'll stop paying them...phrases like constant rip-offs and their attitude is disgusting won't get you anywhere I'm afraid, there ARE valid reasons to have defaults removed but these won't apply to you.
I do agree with you about 3, i too found them awful and ended up not paying and i too have a default BUT ill just have to live with it untill it becomes statute bared, i certainly wouldnt ever enter into another contract with them.
