Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My husband cancelled our Pipex internet and phone.... gave the correct notice and after paying final amount cancelled the direct debit.
They continue to send letters asking for various amounts of money and threatening legal action.
The last letter says 'as we have not heard back from you'. This is untrue , he has called them at least 5 times and apparently on the last call was told it was all sorted and they actually owe us some money........3 days later another letter threatening DCA.
We also get automated telephone calls leaving messages every couple of days saying he needs to contact them.( which he has 5 times)
Is there a standard letter we can send as we now feel this is harrassment and as stated they owe us, not us owing them?
