Default Experian has linked addresses I never even lived at - how to alter this?

    Hi

I''d like to kindly request some advice on what to do about this. Very brief background is this:

3 years ago I failed to repay an overdrafticon. The bank added charges and eventually stopped adding any more charges. Since then a whole pile of 'D's have appeared for every month since on my credit file. Just yesterday I notice that bank had linked me to several addresses I never even lived at. Complete lies basically.

It is not right that companies can get away with storing inaccurate information about me. Who should I write/complain to and what laws do I quote? Perhaps there is a template letter somewhere, I couldn't find one though...?

Additionally, any pointers on what to do with the overdraft would be much appreciated. I've been looking in to this myself and there is plenty of info on CCAs but as I understand it overdrafts are a different kettle of fish?

    Thank you

You should write to the CRAs advising them of this and requesting this information be removed from your credit file.

The overdrafticon I cna't help with as I don't know much about that I am sure someone will be along later who has the knowledge.

There's some info on how the CCA applies to overdrafts in my signatureicon, below
