Hi, i was recently on holiday, during my time away i recieved a lovely phonecall from a friend of mine letting me know he was watching someone ride off with my mountain bike after breaking into my shed.
Once home i notified the police of what was stolen;
1 giant faith mountain bike completely custom
1 custom hardtale jump bike
a number of fishing rods
and all of my tools
My first question is, because the bikes where in my shed at the timeof theft are they classed as 'contents' or personal belongings??
My second question is how long will this claim take??
From previous experience of having a bike stolen (about 3 years ago) it took 4 days to recieve the full cash sum minus the excess this time i have only spoken to one person and its coming up to two weeks with hearing nothing from NU or there 'experts' Ival
any help would be great
