Default Help! Still No CCA But Now Have Nasty Letter From Moorcroft

    Hello all,

Could someone advise me on which letter to use for Moorcroft please? I posted a while back, as I received someone elses CCA 's but not my own (Credit card & Eggicon Money Card). I did have a brief letter saying request wasn't signed & could I send them a utility bill as proof of ID, which has been done but i've still had no word & the initial CCA requests were sent not weeks but months ago now. This morning however, I got a really horrible letter from Moorcroft with "Notice Of Litigation" in big red letters, demanding payment in full, with a list of charges that they will add (solicitors, court etc) plus stating that they've checked with a major public utility that I live at my address (I've never said I didn't!)

This is only regarding one of my accounts, as they seem determined to keep them seperate, probably to confuse me more but anyway, I digress. Could someone please tell me, are Egg allowed to pass this on when they know I am disputing the accounts & also before they've even sent me my CCA's? They have obviously received my requests as they wrote back regarding ID. Should I send them a 2nd letter? Also, does anyone know which letter would be best to see off Moorcroft please? I've heard they are pit bulls so I want to make sure it's a really good one.

I'd really appreciate any advice from anyone in the know regarding this. Ideally i'd like to fire back at them very soon cos it's a real worry. I'll keep checking through other posts for info but there are so many letters that I'd be really grateful for your help.

    Thanks very much.

    Hi,

Eggicon shouldn't have passed the account while in dispute so send moorcroft letter 17 from here:
