Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I live in your constituency and have done all my life. I am in fact a firefighter at Beckenham fire station just opposite your Beckenham office.
I, like any other hope that when any scandals break regarding dishonesty and literally theft of any ‘club funds’ hope it doesn’t involve the person we personally have elected to trust with these funds and the responsibilities that go with them. Well, how sad it was when I saw my very own representative near the top of the ‘league’ table for travelling expenses!!
I would firstly like to congratulate you on the gargantuan amounts of money you have managed to seemingly embezzle from public funds in relation to travelling expenses. I literally could have travelled to work for a year via tornado fighter jet for the astonishing amounts you have claimed, what incredibly expensive mode of transport do you use?? Titan rocket??
I really do not want to look anymore into the phenomenal amounts of public funds you have seemingly embezzled for other ‘expenses’ or any other amazingly strange reasons after all M.Ps are really not paid enough are they??
cannot believe in this current climate you or any M.P can stand up in any hall and say you represent anybody!! You, like most represent yourselves and your own pockets, that’s the sad fact. The rotten apples need to be quashed before they infect the few remaining decent ones.
I wish for the day that us as firefighters can agree our own pay rises or keep any profits made on any second properties which the taxpayer pays for me when I sold it. But sadly like any other commuter I travel to work by public transport or my own transport at my own costs.
Do you actually know the cuts to my working life which are being threatened at the moment and that I will be getting no pay rise for the foreseeable future until the ongoing issues between the brigade and the government are ironed out? I don’t suppose you do?
I can assure you that you will not be getting my vote at any future local or general elections, but then you’ve made your money anyway now haven’t you so probably can retire on that massive self regulated M.Ps pension can’t you?
Can you tell me what this resettlement payment of around £129.000 is all about? It really is absolutely unbelievable the figures being thrown around like it’spocket money from the houses of ‘our’ apparent parliament.
How can these M.Ps guilty of stretching the rules to the max sleep at night? I’ll tell you, on luxury duckdown pillows and in large houses, some even with a moat, port cullis and ducks!!
Will be interesting to see the reply, but we all know how evasive they have been in answering the expenses questions.
Theres thinking that by repaying everything back,it somehow makes things right again.
So we kick out all these MPs and replace them-but the problem is-the ones we replace them with are likely to be old boys who have been off the scene for a while and already made a packet from expenses in the past-or else have got rich by taking backhanders for directorships.

UK Parliament - Members' allowances
kiptower try the link above. The Green Book 2009 a guide to members allowances might give you even more obvious and better choice of writing to your MP.
Unfortunately it is either the system, the fees office or uncle tom cobbley and all's fault. The Green Book 2009 contradicts this by stating:
"The principles are:
Claims should be above reproach and must reflect actual usage
of the resources being claimed.
Claims must only be made for expenditure that it was
necessary for a Member to incur to ensure that he or she could
properly perform his or her parliamentary duties.
Allowances are reimbursed only for the purpose of a Member
carrying out his or her parliamentary duties. Claims cannot
relate to party political activity of any sort, nor must any claim
provide a benefit to a party political organisation.
It is not permissible for a Member to claim under any
parliamentary allowance for anything that the Member is
claiming from any other source.
Members must ensure that claims do not give rise to, or give
the appearance of giving rise to, an improper personal financial
benefit to themselves or anyone else.
Members are committed to openness about what expenditure
has been incurred and for what purposes.
Individual Members take personal responsibility for all expenses
incurred, for making claims and for keeping records, even if the
administration of claims is delegated by them to others.
The requirement of ensuring value for money is central in
claiming for accommodation, goods or services – Members
should avoid purchases which could be seen as extravagant
or luxurious.
Claims must be supported by documentary evidence,
except where the House has agreed that such evidence is
not necessary.
These principles recognise that, in the nature of our democratic
system, Members will wish to explain their views about policies.
However, public money must not be used to give unfair political
advantage to one political party, and for this reason there are
specific controls on particular allowances."
i put it up so CAG'ers could see there are people giving their MP's some stick , will be nice to see her response and it will be posted if he ever gets 1
