Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have just recevied my credit report and it details a few things. I just wanted to query one entry in particular. Next to my o2 Contract it states my monthly status is S0000000S0000Q1000000000. 0.00000. I don't understand the S AND THE Q AND 1, I knw what they stand for I don't know what they mean for my credit, e.g does S mean I had a default but it has been satisfied, etc. Please help.
The 'S' just states that you have settled the account, the 'Q' means that you have contacted o2 to dispute a charge or to query something for that month's bill.
For some reason it looks as if they settled the account, re-activated it and then settled it again 7 months later.
Nothing, the Q should not be taken as a negative - anything with a 1or 2 is slightly negative beyond that - 3, 4, 5, 6, 'D' or 'AP' are very negative, especially if they are within the last 3 years.
