PPI court claim query
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if, when the time comes (very soon!) to make the decision to go to court or fos on the PPI front against Lloyds TSB, Mr Landy and I decide on the court option whether it's possible to lump all the claims together on one N1 -
ie, Mr Landy has PPI on one current loan and two old, settled loans solely in his name as well as another two old, settled loans jointly with me.
Could he therefore put all these on one claim form or do they each have to be tackled separately?
I know that sometimes the bank will lump together the debts we owe them, ie, an overdraft and a loan so it would only seem fair if we could do the same, particularly in the light of costs!
Otherwise, as we are not 100% certain if we'll be exempt from court fees yet or not, this is going to prove mighty costly!
Thanks folks.
Regards,
Landy x

Re: PPI court claim query
Hi PF
Many thanks - that would be most appreciated!
It just seems crazy that you would have to put in several claims separately all against the same institution - but if that's how it has to be, so be it. At the moment with Lloyds I'm favouring court over fos, but if we do have to deal with them all as individual cases I might be forced to reconsider as we have 7 claims (charges and PPI) just with Lloyds alone!

Hiya Landy I've had a search and can find nothing, so i think the best course of action for you is to ring your local court office and ask the court manager.

You could start a thread in this forum and you should get some legal advice on the way ahead.
I have no legal training and the advice I offer is a matter of support. Before you commit to any Legal action you are advised to contact a qualified legal practitioner. ------------------------------------------------

LTSB still have to decide on this as their SAR production was abysmal. Papers data mixed up documents missing etc
Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.
Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
