    Default business account query

    the local club that i go to are in dire straights,and they have a lot of bank charges overdrafticon charges and d.d. refusals,can we claim them back,im not sure on bussiness accounts how things work?any help please

    unpaid direct debits charges?are they easier to claim back on b.accounts?

    Unpaid direct debits incur the same sorts of charges as unpaid cheques/standing orders and so forth.
    So yes-unless the bank is prepared to substantiate them as being a genuine pre estimate (which we know they wont) then consider them claimable.
    It is reasonable to assume also that unpaid DDs is a wholly automated process.
    Barclaysicon had a typical unpaid DD fee of between £27.50 and £35 on its Business account tariffs.
    So yes-they are claimable.

    Yes they are claimable.
    Can you answer as requested;

    1.Which bank is this ?

    2.What dates the charges relate to ie Earliest date and last ones ?
