Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just away to start against the Bank of Scotland. Not sure which address to request my previous statements from. I found a data protection address for the Mound in Edinburgh, but there was a suggestion that by applying to an office in England you can reclaim all at once, rather than having to make multiple small claims in Scottish courts. Any truth in this? Or does anyone have a more effective address to send the letter to?
Bring on th bad guys!
Im fairly new to this, just sent off my letter today asking for the charges levied to be listed, from what I gather though you should send it to the manager of your own branch.
Im not really sure though, I get a bit confused because a lot of the "case examples" in here are based in England.
I just sent it into my local branch manager, I'll see what happens from here.
