Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have an agreement with Lloyds on my personal account to repay an overdraft 25 pounds per month. on top of this i also pay 25 against a personal loan from lloyds.
the last couple of months even tho the 50 pounds have gone into the account on time the 25 pounds to the loan has been returned unpaid (they have then taken it from me and my wifes joint account without asking). i have now found out that due to unplanned overdraft fees (150 pounds per month) there isn't enough money to cover the loan because the account is way over the agreed limit, the clone on the end of the phone will not understand that the acc is over because of their own charges and will not reset the overdraft limit so the loan can be paid so need month the acc will be over again and anoth 150 will go against the account

Re: help needed lloyds not playing fair
Hi keepgoing
Lloyds have done a similar thing to our joint account regarding loan repayments, but in our case we had stopped paying more than the bare minimum in. They have managed to not only lump so many charges on that the loan repayments are not being made, but also have taken the child tax credits, which we rather stupidly forgot were still being paid in (thses have ended now anyway).
We have now not only opened a parachute account, but are in the process of reclaiming our charges - which amount to twice our overdraft!
You need to send off for a SAR and get back all the information they hold on you, then begin to claim back what is rightfully yours. There are good template letters in the library here that you can use.
Also, do as Scott suggested and move your account to another bank if possible to prevent them continuing to offset money from one account to another.
Hope this helps!

Opening a parachute account, is an essential process if you do not want Lloyds to "snatch" (set off) your ingoing funds, they will take anything they can get their greedy little hands on. As has previously been said, start the process for re-claiming the unfair charges ASAP and put the account into dispute, using the stickies provided in the CAG template library.
You have lots of help available from the excellent caggers within this site.
