Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I,ve just found an assurance policy from my late father, it,s with the Prudential. Dated June 1963 assured for the sum of £135 & 4 shillings payable at death with such further sum as may be allocated in addition thereto by way of bonus in respect of profits. On the back of this paper is an indorsement and is says sum assured under free paid up policy £68.88 and bonus additions £68.88 dated May 76. I phoned the Pru and was told this policy was still active and amount payable £137.76
(£68.88 x 2)
This doesn't seen a lot of money for someone who started this Life Assurance in 1963?
Have I missed something?
