hi,i have a PPI claim with the fso,the ppi was for a secured loan, the amount that i,ve paid in would cover my errors, now the question is this can i stop repocession on the fact this loan account is in dispute about the amount of errors owed?

Re: mis sold ppi case with fso
Hi Tiger33
Thanks for getting back to me on this - it's most appreciated!
In our case we are not actually in the position of being repo'd very fortunately. We staved off repossession by our lender (sub-prime - Swift Advances) two years ago and redeemed our mortgage with them shortly after.
We are now trying to get the mis-sold PPI refunded and as we have had no success with either Swift or the broker involved we have filed a complaint with the fos.
As neither Swift nor the broker feature in the recently unveiled FOS league table of complaints, it is hard to tell what our chances of success are:-?
I presume you were successful in managing to prevent repossession?
Hi Landy, sorry to butt in here but just to let you know that the company I work for has managed to get money back from PPI from Swift so dont give up trying, it may just take a little longer than average and should certainly be worth the effort in the long run !

Hi slgsue
That's reassuring to know! If you have any further info on how they went about this I would be very interested to hear
