Has anyone ever had their holiday cancelled through paying late?
My holiday is due to be paid at the end of June for my trip to Egypt for 2 weeks.
However, I want to delay the Payment by a month - I only have £500 left to pay out of the £2k original price.
When I went on holiday last year I was still paying the balance up until 3 weeks before I went (due to finance issues), but just kept paying, never received a chase letter or anything.
I have now received a reminder letter from Thomson letting me know that my payment is due to be paid shortly, I have written to them recorded delivery to state I want to extend it by a month only for my letters to be ignored - bearing in mind a letter I sent back in Nov 08 was only replied to recently because I complained!
Basically I just wondered if anyone has had their holiday cancelled due to paying late even if three quarters of the balance has been paid?
