Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi,
i sent an SAR request on the 9th December 2008, confirmed delivered 10th december. Finally received statements with a covering letter dated 22nd May 2009. The info for claiming back the charges is here, so thats no problem, but Egg have massively breached the limit on sending the info, so i was wondering if there is any avenue for me to push this point when they (inevitably) knock back my claim?

NEVER EVER - act on a private message asking you to visit another website, make contact 'off list' or by telephone
- alert the siteteam IMMEDIATELY by hitting the black warning triangle on any message - Particularly if this results in a request to pay a fee to help you.

is this fig inc their int rate +8% stat?
seems low to me
as for the 40days, well unless its prevented you from claiming charges older the 6yrs then no.
dx
hi there,
No, not added the 8% on yet - didn't know you could also include their interest rate as well (?) and yes, their are a couple of months on there that are now beyond the 6 years.
a sort of fire-fighting role here. Hate HFC & their past compulsory PPI ethos

Re: Claiming back egg charges
well thats prob why they have delayed?
anyhow, IF they have charged you interest on the charges [which they will have!]
each and every month, that portion of charges+interest gets bigger!
going back 6yrs, they have many hundreds out of you, its YOUR money, claim it back.
