    Default LTSB overdraft

Hi everyone. I have received statements from 2001 from ltsbicon. I have a few hundred pounds of charges. Can I state that they have to produce statements for the whole of my banking history, even though I received my SARicon information in February?
Also, our account was closed in 2003/2004. Do I claim interesticon just for the period of the account? (I know the answer, but no harm in hoping )
    THANK YOU. C.

You will have to make another SARicon in which you require dislcosure of all data they hold on you in any form and relating to any matter.

In addition to your charges, make sure that you claim all the interesticon which theyhave charged you on those charges. This will add up to a lot of money.

    Then send them an lbaicon.
If they do not pay in 7 days, sue them. add 8% to everything right up to now and continuing until the judgment or earlier settlement by them.

Claim everything back at least until 1995

Still awaiting extra information from SARicon................
ltsbicon have now asked why we aren't paying anything. I think they can be told that I'm waiting for all the information from them before I reclaim bank charges and once this has been sorted to my satisfaction and I'm aware of any outstanding sums I'll then contact them
They ask if we want to pay by debit or CREDIT card, surely this contravenes CPUTR?

    Still waiting

Going through old paperwork I have found:
Enforcement notice to me terminating account on 1 August 200 and demanding payment of arrears dated 23 July 200
DN issued 13 August, need to check on date of posting as remedy on 22 Aug
OH received enforcement notice dated 1 Sept 200 payment etc 10 Sept.
OH received DN issued 16 Sept, remedy 25 Sept.
As this is joint a/c surely a/c closed from 1 August and no action can be taken?
    Have I misread this?
Any advice gratefully received, especially if it can explain this AS ltsbicon have sent letter threatening court if no payments made.

They have supplied statements from 1999.
2 accounts, both closed in 2004.
1 had an od of £250, with £100 charges, which without my knowledge was consolidatd with a large loan.
2nd od over £6k but charges of only £470.
Accompanying letter says that they do not keep dn but would have been sent 1st class, though they don't keep proof of this. Also said they do not issue termination notices.......they sent enforcement notices terminating the accounts?

    Hi cymruambyth

I can confirm that ltsbicon don't appear to send out Termination Notices but send Enforcement Notices instead. They have recently closed our account as a result of us requesting a refund of charges which amount to more than double our o/d balance and we have definitely only received Enforcement Notices (plus the obligatory letters from SCuM of course!).

Even though they know they owe us more than we owe them they continue to pursue us for the o/d balance and have recently put Apex on the case. We have reported their actions to the FSA and the fosicon.

    Regards,

    Landy x

Hi I'm still trying to work out when they actually closed the account. If we both received enforcement notices stating when the account would be closed, but for different dates, is it the earlier date that counts? Following on from this, I know they can issue different dns, but would the dn following the first enforcement notice be vald and not the second one from a later date and with different amounts? Also, surely ll these dns would be invalid because they include charges?
    Hope this makes sense!!!!!

Hi another charge related question. If they had terminated the account and issued a default notice, is it an unfair charge to keep on adding the account fees of either £12, £15 or £8 on a monthly basis?
