Default Garage charging for work that didn't fix my car

    hello,
I'm hoping someone can and offer me some advice regarding work i have had done to my car.
I took it to my local garage about 4 weeks ago for them to have a look at, they said it was the injectors at fault as well as glowplugs and some other issues, i told them to go ahead and fix this for me. On collection of the car during the work day all appeared to be fine, when i drove home later that night from work i made it 2 miles down the road and the car broke down, the garage had not tightened the injectors properly. After being taken back to the garage by the RAC i got a friend to come and pick me up as it was now 10pm. the grage doubled checked everything and i collected the car again only for the next day the problem still to be present, again back to the garage i went and he took they injectors out and had them doubled checked. again i collected it only for this time it took 2 days for the problem to re-appear. Over these 2 days i had been to my renualt (i have a renualt clio) to get my radio code as i didn't have this, i asked the renault service team if they knew of this problem and they said it was the piston rings sticking togther, i got home and did some reserach and found several people stating the same issue, i rang the garage and told him this he then found some evidence of his own regarding this issue. My issue is that he now wants me to pay £120 for the issue that has fixed the car but has already taken £1300 from me to do the work that didn't fix the issue in the beginning, am i entitled to get a refund on the orignal work that didn't necessarily need doing?
    many thnaks in advance
    beckie

Yes I would definetly ask for a refund they are the experts, you are not paying for them to do a trial and error repair. may have been better to go to a specialist or a renault dealer in the first place.
