It is unlikely that you have grounds for a full cancellation refund, however you should contact Cosmos direct and ask if they can put you in another hotel with kids clubs. Alternate is to ask them to put the money towards another holidayicon entirely that does have kids clubs even if a different time of year. Unfortunately kids clubs don't constitute a major change to a holiday, but most holiday companies will bend over backwards to try to change things to help you out

Can you link me to a source please, MFC.... because, although you may be correct, the holiday doesn't stand up to how is was likely sold. I'd be miffed. They should indeed be bending over backwards, because unless otherwise stated (which I suspect) the OP should be getting a refund. It boils down to possible misrepresentation and the OP parted with £1500 on a likely clincher.

Motivations for desion making/booking are huge, and just saying, after booking, that things aren't as you thought just isn't good enough without coming with a suitable remedy!

OP, try and get your 'little bird' on a recording, or on paper....

And don't forget, T&C's possibly stating something does not mean that is the last word.

Edit. Just called Cosmos and they certainly agree with with MFC (word for word almost!).

Tour operators will want to deliver, but they have to contend generally with the everday things that are thrown up, so have things geared up to allow for this - for them, and I agree up to a point.

However, I still think it's unfair. Challenging it, as always, would be hard work!

Keep at them to sort you out with a suitable alternative!
