Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have had no joy with CCA from BC - they sent application form and current T & C's
Have sent all the usual letters but they have now passed on to Mercers debt collectors.
I have CCa'd Mercers - and now have had what is basically a three page essay back from BC all about the consumer credit act - what they have to provide, what they can omit, that the app form they sent is only an "excerpt" and not the full copy and basically there is no dispute??

Any thoughts please
Some of what they state MAY be true but they also know that the documents they have supplied i.e. the t&c are not sufficient if they are to take court action against you.

hi its easyer to phone and quicker . you get reference number and forms sent out with in a week from fos. got agreement with in two weeks but that might be because the guy on the phone couldnt argue against the cca request he had to go and speak to a supervisor .letters might be treated differently only thinking out loud
