    Default Barclaycard CCA & Mercers

I have had no joy with CCA from BC - they sent application form and current T & C's

Have sent all the usual letters but they have now passed on to Mercers debt collectorsicon.

I have CCa'd Mercers - and now have had what is basically a three page essay back from BC all about the consumer credit act - what they have to provide, what they can omit, that the app form they sent is only an "excerpt" and not the full copy and basically there is no dispute??

    Any thoughts please

Some of what they state MAY be true but they also know that the documents they have supplied i.e. the t&c are not sufficient if they are to take court action against you.

Barclaysicon dont respond with agreements to CCA requests anymore, have you tried a Subject access requesticon, they MAY send it with that if you specify in your list of documents otherwise its possibly a CPR request next. OR just wait for them to move you on to another DCA.

CPR stuff is here, its a long thread and needs reading before starting on the process

    Hi Cleo,

You could try a complaint to the fosicon. See here - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...bradley68.html

Otherwise, the CPR strategy may be the next option, albeit more scary.

I'd suggest you complain in writing so you have the necessary paper trail.

hi its easyer to phone and quicker . you get reference number and forms sent out with in a week from fosicon. got agreement with in two weeks but that might be because the guy on the phone couldnt argue against the cca request he had to go and speak to a supervisor .letters might be treated differently only thinking out loud
