Lowell/red Debt

Hello peeps

I got a letter a few weeks ago from Lowells about a debt from 2001/02. I then recieved one a day or so later from Red Debt saying they had been appointed to collect and i should call them immediately. I replied a week or so later with a letter stating teh debt was statute barred icon

and throwing in the Precscription Act blah blah that stands for Scottish Law. They then replied back to say they were upset that i did not want to pay bak the money owed and that they were passing the matter onto their 'specialist dept' who would 'ultimately' decide on the best course of action. So I am about to send 2nd letter stating statute barred a duplicate of the 1st letter just with the extra 2ND LETTER in bold on the top to them should i send this or just leave it? The debt hasnt been acknowledged since 2001/02 at the very latest they wrote to me in Aug 2007 to which i replied saying the debt wasnt mine and to prove it and i never heard from them again. Should i send letter or leave it alone?

leave it if they contact you again then make a complaint to TS and OFT
