Strange things youve done to avoid Repossession And Bankruptcy
Here are some of mine -i would appreciate yours. 1-Car boots-selling things to pay bills-unwanted things first then you slip down the road to selling things you need just to survive. 2-Turning off the boiler for months. 3-Pawning things over and over, till finallly they are lost. 4--Propogating and selling plants-indoor and outdoor plants, trouble is they take so long to mature. 4b-I once took some old silver spoons,silver-16oz to a dealer only to be told they were E.P.N.S. 5-You will have to picture this-I went to a stationery suppliers and bought a magnifying glass and fine pointed pen, then i bought some minature plastic hollow dolphins with a sealable top and some fake gold necklaces.I then went to a grocers and bought some long grain rice.I took the table and some made up advertising to a car boot and started.I will write your name on a grain of rice i said and started -soon realising when someone with a name like Mahershalalhashbaz asked that this could prove difficult.I managed it but it took about 3 hours then filled the dolphin with water to magnify and put the chain on.By the end of the day i was advertising abbreviations of football clubs-M.U.F.C that kind of thing. 6-I went into cashcoxxxxxxxs and sold a sewing machine there was a fellow with skis behind me. 7-The strangest of all-Stripping-i was 50 at the time and was training everyday at the gym.A chap who trained there who had entered MR UK said to me do you want to try strippping. At the time i was strong-tanned-bald headed like Eric Delaney who 15 years years ago i knew well and had copied-thank god it became fashionable.MMM-i thought i will ask the wife.Yes she said-go for it 300 for weekend.Bellboy kind of look -as in hotels, peaked cap-you know. Was going to when i heard two ladies built like rockveilers had charged at him and his life was saved by a Polish girl bouncer built like a African Elephant. Also the private booth show where you get scratched and may lose bits.So backed off that one. There are many more but what is your story.Hope i havent bored you on this fine Sunday.Tawnyowl.

Sunday again -just a small one today-really waiting for a strange thing you have done to avoid.I once bought a large number of tele -tubbys and pogs-slammers etc but maybe slightly at the wrong time. After a week trying to sell them i ended up giving them to a local nursery.Kids loved them they were everywhere.Pity the parents wouldnt buy them in the first place.Failed again
Re: Strange things youve done to avoid Repossession And Bankruptcy
Well its Sunday again so i will fill a few minutes out to tell you a few more things i tried.1-Kept the car of road to save fuel and also declared sorn..=2=Bought clothes from charity shops and second hand shops.Bought household good from carboots.Started using thin bread and own brand labels. Now i know holidays are out in this situation but heres one i did 13 years ago.Suitable for these times. Shortly before getting married i went to live in the semi desert of Tenerife.I had never been abroad and wanted to experience it once.I found a cove miles from anywhere and settled.During the day i walked to all different places and mixed with all sorts of people-gypsy types-even drug dealers and the local workers.I soon found a different world but strangely was accepted. They told me what it was like-their lookouts on life troubles what goes on every thing. At night i used to walk back to my cove complete with cave and resident mosquito -sometimes four hours walk and settle and watch the sun go down-imadgening Africa just over the horizon. To the east of me in the distance was a volcano like object-and on both sides what appeared to be banana plantations. For the first time i saw dolphins, flying fish and shooting stars.I went to the market and every nation on earth seemed to be there from Arthur Daley types to colourful african women selling carved wood etc, complete with the throb of mixtures of african-med music everywheree.and spicey smells etc.I lived on Spam and water made my own fishing lines hooks and tried to catch fish.Only trouble was once caught i wondered if they were poiseness.Because it was semi desert it sometimes took me half a day to find wood for a small fire when a slight chill set in during the night. In case some of you are wondering about the line hooks etc-well i found a small length of anchor line and stripped it down till only a small thin line was left. The hooks were made of a fine meshed metal grate i found-broke small pieces off and bent them forming a hook. The bait-spam-shell fish etc.I tried to catch crab-they were the size of dinner plates but failed.Took me 2 days to walk back to the airport with background landscape like the moon and intense heat.Think of planet of the apes-which was filmed there and youve got it.Cheap and i will never forget it.Hope i havent bored you Tawnyowl.
