Default Tiny vs Alliance & Leicester

I have recently sent my preliminary approach for payment to A&L and havent received anything back as of yet (only sent a week ago) but have received another letter adv accounts overdrawn and they'll be applying a further £100.00 charge end of month. Can I request they freeze the account, or stop the charges etc?

you can but I'm afraid it won't do a blind bit of good.

They will keep on charging and charging and when you can't play any more than they will threaten to default you -- and maybe they will even though the account is in disputeicon and they are not allowed to take this kind of action because of the Banking Codeicon and information Commissioner's guidelines as to the entering of defaults.

Nevertheless you should still go ahead and make your claim and start the action in court. This way you get in the queue and also that least the money that they owe you is earning 8% -- and that is pretty good by today's standards.

Do their charges that you into a position of hardship? Or is it just an inconvenience?
