Parked at the Hospital

What a plonker, i parked in the car park at my local hospital. There were some spaces, but i have a disabled blue badge so as all the disabled spaces were full, and not all with blue badges, i parked next to the disabled bays on a hatched area, low and behold i get a ticket. Now i cant afford £40 let alone £85 so i would be very grateful for some advice please.

It's a PPC invoice, not a parking fine icon

, so all you have to do is.... nothing.

Put it in a drawer, (for the 1 in a million chance they push their luck to court), and forget about it.

You will receive further junk mail from them, usually 2 or 3 letters, then maybe a couple from a DCA icon

and pretend solicitor before they eventually give up. By then they will claim you owe then a zillion pounds but don't worry coz you aren't paying them a penny, never mind a zillion.

It's not a proper ticket. It's an unenforceable invoice from a private company.

• do not pay
• do not contact them
• ignore the threatening junkmail they will send you
• expect some debt collector icon

letters - ignore them too
• they will then give up an go away

the disabled OP gets an unfair and unenforceable ticket for the terrible crime of parking next to the disabled bays.

Oh, how the parking attendant must have laughed as he slapped the ticket on the windscreen.
