Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I posted a request for help on here on the 15th May but didn't get any replies.
I am desperate for advice with this please.
Briefly Abbey repaid 60% of my claim for repayment of charges. This left me with a £300 overdraft which is actually less than what they owe me. (They owe me £550)
They have been marking my Credit Reference files as 'late payment' (now 3 late markers) because I am not using that account anymore. Then as I said in my last question, they sent me a Notice of Cancellation of overdraft which says I must repay the £300 before 1st July or they will start applying charges again.
I have written to them twice requesting the late payment markers be removed from my CRF as they have stayed the balance of my claim awaiting the test case result. They have not replied and the clock is ticking on my case.
Now today I received a letter requesting a statement of my expenditure. I already gave them this statement when I submitted my original claim.
Will someone please help me with this? I don't know what to do.
