Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I entered into a protected trust deed in March 2007. The trust deed was not accepted by all of my creditirs so I was advised to enter into Sequestration. I refused and asked to be removed from the trust deed. This was agreed and I paid my legal fees to be released. Now 2 years later I have checked my credit file and the trust deed still appears in it along with the entry in the Edinburgh Gazette.
donlt know much about TD's but maybe altter to the company that was going to operate your trust deed may be in order

Thanks tried that and they said they don't enter anything to your credit file. They're going to write to all creditors to try to sort it. Not having much luck though
another way would be to write to the cra's and state that the trust deed has been cancelled and you want this removed, they will then contact the company for clarification and obviously they should agree to the removal
