Hi i'm thinking about embarking on an iva with goodbye2debt and have been searching for reviews on them without success. Having said that of course there will be charges during the course of the iva which will reduce the amount the creditors will get. Is it possible to say offer for e.g 33p in the pound myself therefore enabling the creditors to recieve more and eradicating the fees.
I have not heard of goodbye2debt before, however, I am aware that most IVA companies do charge upfront fees. i.e if your IVA offer is rejected by your creditors, you would need to pay the company a lump sum for their work up until that point.
As above, the CCCS and Payplan are free of charge and do both debt management plans and IVAs. Their IVAs are free of charge and all fees are built in within the IVA so you dont have to pay any more than your monthly payment.
Hope this helps x
there are plenty insolvency companies that wont charge a penny until the IVA has been approved - and then their charges will come out of the agreed dividend.
I would strongly advise against ever paying any company any upfront charges - you dont have to .
No IVA comes free - even payplan and the CCCS insovency divison charge - but tbe charges come after agreement and then out of the agreed dividend.
