I have been charged a total of £163 for 2 direct debits which Abbey decided to process after i cancelled them online. Well i can't prove this but i know its true, so naturally i'm livid and refuse to pay up!!
But now they are threatening the removal of my valuables lol. I tried ringing the phoneline but its always closed before i get home from work and it's only open monday to friday! TYPICAL!!
I should mention that i cancelled these DD's as i moved bank accounts, purely because Abbey wouldn't give me an overdraft. I asked for 4 years. I now bank elsewhere but i can't shake those money-grabbing ******'s.
