The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights

bought a caravan 2 yrs ago ,on a lovely peaceful family site on the northcoast , no bells + whistles not many on site rented out so had regular lovely neighbours .
l bought the caravan [approx 15 yrs old and in great condition ] for £3000
a few mths later whilst at the caravan a elderly gentleman asked me if l owned it , l said l did , and he explained he used to own it and was told that because of the age of the caravan he could not re -sell it , only pass it on to family [he had none] so had to let the caravan go ...
he was told by the site owners that it would be removed from site and destroyed ..
he asked how much l paid for it and l told him £3000 he was furious as he knew nothing about this
he obviously went home and spoke to his family and they contacted the manager about this
the next l knew was that the manager called round and said that the ex owners had been in touch and were quering the sale and said to me that if anyone asks that should say we did,nt pay anything for it !!!!
HELLO WHAT PLANET ARE U ON ??? [ fiddle springs to mind ] he didnt know we.d already spoke to him !!
we were also told that because of the age we cannot sell it on , but can still pass on to family ect [so what about the 15 yr out rule ?? ] but not to redecorate it as if we were to give it up it will have to come off site due to age are then sold on to workmen on roadside contracts ect.. and if they are "OVERLY DECORATED" ?? they are difficult to sell on and we may be liable for the removale fee
ROCK + HARD PLACE OR WHAT ???:?
