Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

It won't be the first, and it won't be the last. Unless you get a phone certified to IP65/IP66 for water ingress, THEN you can complain that it doesn't do what it says on the tin. Anything else, and you are on your own.
It can be caused y external rain, dampness, dropping into a sink, steamy kitchen body sweat, internal condensation and temperature extremes. They don't all have to be dropped into a swimming pool.
carphone warehouse provide a digital photograph of the water damaged area, this will normally show the area or corrosion, which is normally a rusty patch or a white powdery patch. Water damage can be caused by a number of things as mentioned above, i have seen a water damaged phone of someone that put it near the kettle whilst making tea, the steam got in the phone therefore causing irriperable damage
Unfortunately, liquid ingress does ruin phones and is not covered by your warranty.
Not what you want to hear, but now it is out of warranty anyway, you can take it to any mobile repair shop situated in plenty of towns... they usually repair phones that have been damaged like this
They are not usually beyond repair, but the manufacturers dont have to do it 'free' for you.
