Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Can someone clarify where we stand in Scotland on reclaiming bank charges. I started reclaiming from Alliance and Leicester in 2007 for £1042.90. They wrote back with a Full and final offer of £221.50, which I wrote back to them and refused their offer. I heard nothing back from them and persumed that I could not pursue this because of the court case. Is it possible for me to restart this claim as I am in Scotland?
