    Default DVLA petition

If like me you sent in your licence to be renewed only to find the tw**s have removed entitlement and left you in the sh** please sign.
I put it in for three months. I have read the horror stories of the DVLA's antics and hope this puts an end to it, Thanks all.

    Note not my spelling mistake,

    petitions.number10.gov... LAlicence/

    Your petition reads:

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to DVLA return
    original driving licences .

Most people are aware that upon renewing their driving licence
that catagories have mysteriously disappeared from their
licence, We the publice pay a fee for our licence therefore i
would like to see our old out of date licences returned to the
owner to avoid mistakes being made by the DVLA

    Thanks for submitting your petition.

    Default Re: DVLA petition

Someone close to me applied for a change of address and a new photocard licence only to be told that no records were held of them having one in the first place. After 6 months of sending letters to and fro to the DVLA they gave up as they wouldn't budge an inch on how perfect their records were.

It led to a huge falling out and shameably I did side with the DVLA at the time and accused the person of lying and not having one in the first place.' Putting lives at risk','invalid insurance','fraud' I threw the lot at them.

That was a few years ago and they did have to retake their test and put up with me driving them about until they passed. I feel awful about it and they have always said that they did pass, named the dates, the test centre and the driving instructor.
