HI ALL
Just off to post SAR tomorrow
may be asking for help in the future
We are sending off our letters together need a hand to hold
We are sick of being poor due to these charges
For the record, I have, sorry had a current account a key account and a large loan outstanding with the RBS. They have closed my key account, defaulted me on the loan. despite payments being made by loan insurance?? and closed my current account except for payments of 100 hundred pound overdraft and 500 pound charges. The loan insurance did not cover my overdraft.
I now need to find a highlighter and mark every charge I can find over the six year period
well i posted first letter requesting over 3000 back to BOS last thursday .got letter today stating sorry to hear of my complaint and the fsa gives them 8 weeks to respond and if they are unable to respond fully to my concerns within the nxt 4 weeks they will write to update .Do I wait for this?
Nope. If you sent the letter (I presume you mean a prelim?) from this site, you quite clearly gave them 14 days. So get your second letter - an lba - ready to send in 14 days. It is their attempt delaying the inexperienced.
You are calling the shots, not them and don't you forget it!!!

Well letter received from bos usual bumf offering as a gesture of goodwill 1510.00 my charges were over 3000.00 It says that this is a goodwill gesture and is in Full and final settlement of your complaint against Bank of Scotland It also says i dont need to take any further action as the payment will be credited to my account within the next 14 days Can anyone help with my next steps please
You need to be quick here. Send a rejection letter from the library section stating that you DO NOT accept their offer and you insist that this payment is not made to your account. If you haven't sent off the lba, then get that out a couple of days later....
