hi me and my boyfriend have just booked a holiday throught thomas cook,we did want 2 book it online as we tried in the shop but they wasnt helpful at all but when we did actually go to book it their was problems with the website so i had 2 book it over the phone,well we are going 2 gran canaria on 19th nov with our friends but as we did book it the same time as our friends we have 2 stay a few blocks anyway from them now for me and my boyfriend its £350 each for a self catering apartment now when i went in2 the shop the lady printed me off information about the apartments it said that we would have air condidtion in the rooms and that it was the basic self catering e.g kettle and toaster,now we have actually put a deposit down and had our letter through we havent even got air condidtion or even a kettle,and also when i was on the phone 2 the sales rep i asked if we could pay our holiday off in store and he was saying yes yes yes you can now when we actuallly do go in2 the store we can only pay for this over the phone or online and we have no travel insurance he also said this includes our travel insurance.ive been trying to ring thomas cook for the last week but u can never get through.is there any way u can help us without losing our deposit??? thanks
