Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have received these two letters from Abbey - not sure what they mean. I requested a CCA but have had no response from them whatsoever apart from these two letters. I am currently on a debt management plan with my creditors and Abbey along with some other ones have sent letters like these.
What do they mean :
1) they have nothing to do with my CCA request?
2) they are as a result of my CCA request?
3) they are just part of being on a debt management plan?
Has anyone else had these letters and how have they dealt with them.
I sent an account in dispute letter to them on 7 April 2009 - again this has not been acknowledged and no CCA sent.
I requested cca from Abbey and received numerous bits and bobs but not the actual agreement. makes you wonder doesnt it wether they want to help. No singned contract.
