Hi Guys, I Was Just Wondering If Anyone Could Tell Me The Best Way To Tackle This....

Unfortunately The Hot Sun Had Beaten Down On My Windscreen And Caused The Ticket To Fall... But It Was Still Viewable To Anyone Who Really Wanted To See It....
Please Could You Advise Me...
I Have Enclosed A Copy Of The Charge And The Purchased Pay & Display Ticket.... Also A Lot Of My Previouse P&dtickets To Prove I Am Always Paying And Displaying At This Carpark...
Re: Help - Got A Ticket Off Ncp - Yey I Had Paid & Displayed
It doesn't matter - their ticket is just a worthless bit of toilet paper. It's just an unenforceable invoice.
It's a [problem]. Contact them and they'll just give you a templated 'appeal rejected' letter.
• do not pay
• do not contact them
• ignore their threatening letters and junkmail from debt collectors
• they will not take you to court
• they will give up and go away
Don't worry and don't lose any sleep overit. Just ignore.
Re: Help - Got A Ticket Off Ncp - Yey I Had Paid & Displayed
I've had two Penalty Charge Notices (pcn's) when parking in NCP car park (Lincoln Road, Peterborough) and using their phone and pay system. It's a real pain. I have evidence I've paid 'cos they send a text telling you your parking is about to come to an end, and the charge is on my bank statement.
The PCN is threatening, and there is no telephone number on it - all challenges have to be in writing. Through persistence I found a number and called about the first PCN and was told it was a mistake and I'd receive written confirmation (that was a year ago). Following the latest incident I've sent a letter of complaint to the address on the PCN and to the CEO. Their PCN states that I'm in breach of contract by parking without displaying a ticket. I've responded that they're in breach of contract by harrassing a customer who has parked legally and within the terms of their contract and that I'm applying the same penalties to them ie. pay me £50 within 14 days or £100 if they fail to respond within that time. I'm sure I'll get no response. Interestingly they've increased their penalty charges by 100% since last year.

Spinster, I would delete that pic of the ticket now as it has been commented on so you have advise. The ticket is showing too many personal details and should be removed (by a mod if Spinster isn't around please)
Re: Help - Got A Ticket Off Ncp - Yey I Had Paid & Displayed
Do not simply ignore this ticket.
It is actually an invoice from NCP and it should be reported to Trading Standards, Companies House and HMRC.
The reasons are that
a) any communication from a limited company must included the registered address and company registration number (and in which country it is registered);
b) as they are registered for VAT, they should (but are not obliged to, show details of the VAT charged in the inclusive price) and must show their VAT registration number - as their P&D ticket does.
Re: Help - Got A Ticket Off Ncp - Yey I Had Paid & Displayed
mention the words "falsely claiming statutory authority" and "Fraud Act 2006" amongst the litany. NCP do some very naughty things but these railway tickets a huge risk for them, its very very naughty stuff in my opinion.
