Thread: Parking Ticket At Train Station

My daughter has received a letter from Roxburghe for £115. The parking ticket was issued on 23rd Feb 09 and this is the first communication she has received from anyone. There was no ticket on her car.

What she didn't realise was that when being dropped off at the station you have 20 minutes free parking but you do need to take a ticket. Her partner dropped her off and she knows he is there no longer than 10 minutes. There has never ever been a parking ticket left on the car.

I have written to Roxburghe and askef for copies of all documents. Is there anything else she can do. The heading on Roxburghe's letter states Unpaid Civil Penalty Notice.

I suggest you leave it unpaid and just bin the letters.

Thank you. I never thought about looking on CAG before I wrote to them, I should have realised there would be a forum for something like this.
