Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi, my friend is trying to get his statements for the last 6 years from Barclaycard, he sent his data subject request form but didn't know his a/c number as the credit card was a year or 2 ago, they replied saying that they needed his a/c number, please can anyone point me towards a template letter for this?
Also, he has his statements from his Halifax credit card and is ready to go to the next step, please can anyone point me towards the template letter? Or is it the s/sheet next?
Thank you in advance!!
BC should be able to trace the a/c data, if you give:_
Full name
DoB
Best guess at when a/c was opened
Current address and any other which applied during the a/c history
Info re any Barclays bank a/c which was also open

If you just claim the charges, they'll argue a bit, then repay all the charges and maybe a flat 8% bonus on top.
If you claim back interest at the contractual rate using an Advanced Spreadsheet, they'll fight you all the way, you'll have to file a claim at court, send in an aq, prepare 3 x Court Bundles and they'll start negotiating only when you have a final court date.
If you want the contractual interest, the reward financially can be significant.
