My boyfriend has now jumped on the bandwagon, after seeing me take the first step against Barclays. So I'm helping him for the first few days. I'm sending his SAR letter off later today asking for statements from 2 loan accounts. Watch thi space as they say!!
I have received my boyfriend's statements going back 6 years, and need a bit of advice as to what I can claim back. It was a barclayloan account, and he had a standing order from his current account to his loan account paying £146 every month. He has been charged interest every month, and I need to know can I claim this back? Also he has a few entries on the statements that say UNP, and no payments were made to his loan account for 4 months. He had to change the loan to a resolve loan, after being told by a Barclays staff member that he had to pay the 4 missing months payments plus interest approx £1000. He couldn't. Any way he got the resolve loan and was basically back to square one. What if anything can I claim back? His loan is now paid and the account closed. Please help, Thankyou.
