Thread: Welcome Car Finance to Close what is my position???

I saw on the tv that welcome car finance is to close in knowsley. What is my position on my finance agreement? I have only paid 12 months payments and can't hand car back under voluntary until I have paid 19 months payments. I am fortunate to be upto date on my payments, however what will happen now and what are my rights under my agreement given it is with WCF? Do they sell my agreement on or does it carry on as per normal payments or do I have to give car back? Does anyone know my rights so that I don't agree to something that is wrong under pressure please.

I too would like to know the answer to this.
I have just read my agreement with a magnifying glass and i see nothing on there regarding the company not trading and as it's a HP agreement with a company that no longer exsists surely that's the end of the agreement and we can give the car back should we choose to?

Surely a hire agreement with a company that no longer trades isnt possible?

That depends if anybody takes over, the contracts will be transfered to them or another creditor. you will still have to pay somebody unfortunately.
