Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
in march 09 i bought a used turbo for my vauxhall movano
unfortunately i did not use it and under their 39 days warrenty i returned the item unused and ib good condition
i rang the company after 3-4 days asking if it had been returned, and after checking they said that it was, so i asked them for my reimbursment
they said it would be done within three to five days
one month later i am still waiting for reimbursment
the manager emailed today politely asking for the proof of postage then he would write a cheque immediately
i did this and when the email showed i had not sent it registered
he completly denied all knowladge that it had arrived
even tjhough during previous phone calls they had stated it had been put back into stock
these people are rip off merchents
if you are requiring any spare parts for your vehicle
DO NOT USE UNIVERSAL COMPONENTS OF CANTERBURY
IF YOU HAVE HAD A SIMILAR EXPIERIENCE PM ME as i want to show them that they are r.o. merchents
One of the reasons that I always advocate the use of the written word and not telephones.

i certainly could claim from the post office
but the firm told me that the item had been returned
so if i claim on the post office the company gets away with not paying me my refund
they keep the money
i claim against post office
isnt that fraud
as it is the company that owes me, so they should pay and not the post office
what i need is a legal letter to send to company
Best thing is to get everything in writing and then see what the firm say as they're giving you two opposing events - either they did recieve it (in which case you sue them) or they didn't recieve it (in which case you claim compensation).
I have asked my bank this morning to do a visa debit chargeback and they are only to willing to do this
have to wait 14 days and they send a disclaimer then they deduct the money from their account
