I've received a letter from Capital One offering me a goodwill gesture in regards to PPI mis-selling.
I'm happy with the amount offered, but I don't want it reduced from the oustanding balance on the account.
The account was sold last year to a DCA, and is no longer with capital one. (I have the dca letter which states this).
I'd like to ask for it to be paid by cheque to me personally as they don't have the account anymore, do I stand a chance of this happening?
I haven't signed the agreement yet, but it does state it will reduce the balance.
