Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I recently sent Abbey a request for my statements for the past 6 years so i can proceed to reclaim my bank charges, they finally sent me cop statements from 1st July 2005 but somehow they managed to "miss" *all* the charges for my account off my statement which i know they charged me for.
How do i proceed with this now?
Also i have a second abbey account with £175 which is totally comprised of unauthorised overdraft charges that they have now passed on to a DCA who are continually sending me nasty "default" letters, at present I havent managed to send off the request for bank charges refund info on that account since im not sure how to proceed.
As for the second account, start your claim, then send a letter to the DCA letting them know you are reclaiming this money, and the account is in dispute.
The step by step guide is in my signature, it is always a good idea to bookmark it for future reference.
