Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Right after punching Cap1 on the nose - I'm going for Barclaycard.
They have refused my insurance claim from Sept last year as they claim it is a prior condition so the PPI is definately mis-sold as they knew I was technically self employed and had had a previous accident - both are exceptions to their PPI.
They have told me that I have ignored a default notice(never received and not on my credit file) and have passed it to Mercers and Calders who have done the usual calls, letters, etc.
Today received a formal demand from Barclays/Debt Managers ltd.
CCA request was signed for on the 9th April so they have till 24th to reply + 30 days for criminal default. (Egg, Cap1 and Fredricksons are the same)
So which is the best way to kick this lot between the legs?
Suggestions gladly received.
I'm afraid all BC will send you is a set of their T&C's for the a/c.
Getting a credit agreement from them is not easy and many are now trying the CPR route. Read up on this in Link No2 in my signature below.
In the meantime, start a thread in the PPI forum and proceed with your claim for repayment of premiums.
I assume they were aware of your technically self-employed status and the previous "condition", and it's because they knew that you want the premiums returned.

Yep, they have said under the medical disclosure that they will not pay out at all unless I break my arm, etc. They state that I would of been aware of the injury and that it not be admissable - said about me reading T&C. So yes I want the money back.
Received Barclaycards reply today to my CCA request.
Thank you very much ..........
Please find enclosed................. .
details omitted, etc.........
Only nothing in the bloody envelope!
Idiots.

Nothing from Barclaycard so another letter off to them tomorrow and will give them 21 days and then I'll N244 them. Had enough of their arrogance and ignorance now.
