Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I've attached a front and rear copy of a pcn issued to me yesterday.
I left my car on double yellow lines whilst I ran into the bank to deposit some cash, was gone for 5minutes max.
When I came back the warden was taking photos of my car, he told me to open my car door so the photo would illustrate I had came back to my car and that this would be reasonable grounds for an appeal (can't see it myself)
I could imagine though as a representative of the enforcement agency he knows what he's talking about.
I'll be checking the road out for any breaks in the yellow lines, inadequate signage, etc...
For the time being I'm hoping someone can pick some holes in my PCN...
