1st post, please be gentle ............ I recieved a "parking charge notice" this morning from CP Plus Ltd, for parking between 09.52 & 13.11 on 2.04.09 ......... they say the limit is 2 hours for free ........... I was meeting my new boss, and we sat in the coffee shop all morning, spending money. It was'nt like I dumped the car and went off somewhere else
They say they want £80, but will accept £50 before 01.05.09
They also say they have photographic evidence, which I'm dubias about. And I did'nt see any signs saying what the charges were ( that does'nt mean there is'nt any) ......... it's a motorway services for gods sake !!!

What should I do ??
Hi there. This is just a PPC [problem].Ignore them and do not pay or enter into any correspondence with them. CP Plus are known well on here. The photographic evidence is irrelevent. Be prepared for some 'threatograms' form CP Plus and thier DCA but they will disappear after 5-6

No worries. Yes, ignore for now. The templates were designed some time ago and are very helpful but the general consensus now is to ignore the PPCs-and it really does work. By entering into correspondence they will send lots of letters trying to put even more pressure on you.

I'm glad I started a thread now .. having read other threads, and the Templates........ I was thinking I was waisting everyones time by starting a thread, as the info is all over the forum ................... But as many heads are better than one ......... I'll go with the flow
Two heads are certainly better than one and im sure other Caggers will post on your thread at some point too. Also spread the word about the [problem]s and if any friends have any issues point them here. And please do update

I spoke too soon ..recieved second letter this morning.
** Final Reminder Before legal Action**
Failure to pay the full balance outstanding within 7 days of the date of this notice could result in the balance outstanding being registered as a debt against you in the county court. A warrant may then be issued to bailiffs to recover payment. You will also beocme liable for the additional fees of the County Court and the bailiff together with any legal costs and interest involved. Your ability to obtain credit in the future could be affected.
Thats it word for word, including there punctuation ............. lots of if buts and maybe's, is'nt there.
And the red lettering is really scary ............
Posted for information, if it's usefull to anyone.

The Above Parking Charge Notice was issued on the 17/04/09 and a reminder issued on the 07/05/05. To date no payment has been recieved and the deadline for written representations against this notice has expired.
In accordance with the terms and conditions clearly and prominently displayed and agreed to when you parkon our clients private property a £40 collection & admin fee has now been added. To avoid this being passed to our legal dept for further action you are required to pay the sum of £120 within 7 days.
If your full payment is not recieved, further legal and court costs may be added together with interest on the sum due. Please be advised that should this matter now be referred to our solicitors, they reserve the right to take legal action to enforce this contract and register this debt against you in the county court, they will then seek to have a warrant issued for bailiffs to recover this debt.
Your ability to obtain credit in the future mat be affected if we have to take this matter to our solicitors for futher action
Please payment by cheuque ...Blah Blah Blah!
