Wife got a car from welcome 2 years ago no problems everything was fine until we decided to VT the car in February. Now they completely ignored us to start with and despite numerous calls nothing moved on until the directdebit was cancelled and we told them this atwhich point everything suddenly happened. so evetually they picked up the car on friday 17th April now the first problem arises they insist we pay up until this point but we dont believe we should as we started the proces back in the middle of February they even admit their records show they cancelled the initial request so not out fault. are we liable for this? secondly we owe PPI insurance now we are looking at claiming this back as it was implied she would get car without it but in the meantime we agree thatas they have already paid it to insurer we need to pay it out, however they insist thatwe still need to pay the same amount we were paying each month but as far as i am concerned we had an agreement to pay so much for carand so much for insurances therefore we should only be paying the amount on the agreement for that. Now i could be wrong about this but some advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated on the matter unrgently before next payment is due.
