Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
had two loans with this lot started in 05 ,second loan cancelled out first after a year [ first one payed off in full including all PPI] second one i payed of early two. i did manage to cancell my ppi on the second loan about six months into it, but i never recieved a refund , both cheques for these loans where delivered by courier and on both ocassions told to sign the pre filled out boxes containing , ppi . he was adement this was done before he could leave the cheque .
luckily because i do keep all my paperwork , ive sent off my initial letter asking for a full refund on both accounts , and sent copys of my initial paperwork to them also . i do not expect it to be plain sailing and await their slippery response reply

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
hi aa i ve had a reply from funding corp basicaly saying no and that one of their rep tel me and discussed the levels of PPI in 2004 and that i choose gold cover (as if) and they put this sentance in to scare me of (ha)
WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE PPI WAS MIS SOLD AND WOULD PUT YOU TO STRICT PROOF THAT THIS WAS THE CASE SHOULD YOU WISH TO PURSUE THE MATTER IN COURT, FURTHERMORE, WE WOULD NOT LOOK TO PAY ANY COSTS YOU HAVE INCURRED IN CONTACTING US TO RAISE THIS ISSUE . your thoughts would be appreciated any help i know i have to go the whole way with this lot , and miss representation is the way do you think putting the ball back to them in the court papers forcing them to show otherwise ( i will go the court route no problem ive several battles coming up and need the experience )

You will need to be prepared for court, best start by sending them a Subject access request asking for all the data including:
A true copy of the original Consumer Credit Agreement with the terms and conditions applicable to that agreement at the time it was started,
Copies of all statements on the account.
Copies of all other data in whatever format they hold the data on, paper, electronic, cd, floppy disk, tape, microfiche, letters, faxes, emails etc.

Newbie here, I also took a loan out with the in May 04, again courier at door had to sign at door before check was handed over didn't have time to check paperwork I was also elf employed at the time.
Wasn't till a few years later I was checking my financial paprwork I realised I had been charged £1860 for PPI which I wasn't covered for anyway as I was self employed, anyway tried to claim it back but was totally fobbed off after many attempts because they didn't fall under the fos at the time, so I eventually managed to cancel this but my monthly loan payments only reduced by 81p a month I queried this but was told this was correct.
I have been checking out the figures for this loan and can't get it to add up:
PPI 1860.00
LOAN AMOUNT 10000.00 interest 5073.80
APR 14.9
I have attached a copy of the agreement can anyone tell me if the facts and figurs look ok.

Hello , I Am Sorry Ive Been Soughting Out The Rest Of My Cases And DCA S Some Of The Banks Have Tried Two Or Three Times To Pass A disputed account On, Any Way Back To The Funding Corp
Back In 05/06 I Made 7 Payments And Then Querried The PPI And Cancelled New Payment Was £122 Less Which Totals £855 Paid Over And Above , This Was Not Refunded , But According To The Paperwork I Got Back From My SAR It Went On The Balance Or Total.
Surely This Figure Together With The Ppi Interestfor The Seven Months And The Contractual interest Plus Statutory 8% Isthe Figure I Claim ? If Some One Gets Time To Reply I Would Be Gratefull Thankyou
ok had a couple of letters back from them saying the would refund £855.00 but not interest alas i wont be taking this , its been far to long comming and to little an offer 05/06 they are having a laugh
