Hi
I was an existing customer for Talk Talk not tied to any contract as my contract period had passed.
Bt made an error and attempted to transfer my service provision to itslef. They have now owned up to the error.
I am now left without phoneline and broadband. And Talk Talk want to put me on a new 18 months contract inroder to reconnect me.
Get your phoneline back on with BT, and choose another provider other than BT & carphone Warehouse both are a waste of space and time. Carphone Warehouse cannot be trusted.
Had a go at a TT salesman yesterday - he was trying to get a woman to sign up in a supermarket foyer, she told him she wasnt interested and he started pulling her trolley towards him
I asked him if he was deaf and then informed him I'd call the store manager and get him and his comrade in arms thrown out if they continued such agressive tactics
Absolutely disgraceful, poor woman was clearly intimidated

They use the same tactics online as well, try sticking your BT number into their check box on their website and you get confronted with a web chat dialogue box, and a whole host of nusance calls to your landline until you get ratty with them and tell them to sod off.
