    Default ccs parking ticket been passed to debt company

    Hi I have recived loads of private parking tickets from a company called ccs, I have ignored all there letters and there photo copys of ccj's, I have now received a letter from JB debt recovery in regards to the parking fines can any one tell me can they do anything about this.

    It sounds like the DC is trying to scare the OP with photocopies of someones ccj's as if to say 'you're next'.

    If it is a PPC, which I believe you say it is, there is no fine. Just an unenforcable invoice.

    As someone else has said on here, you will get several 'Threatograms'.

    Is it a copy of a ccj or have they sent copies of the Particulars of Claim?
    It's not unheard of for PPCs and DCAicon's to send out dummy POCicon (all thats missing is the seal or claim number) in order to try and intimidate you into paying.

    If this is the case and they have sent you POC then a quick check with your local county courticon should establish if they are real or just pretend ones.
    I strongly suspect the latter.

    Continue to ignore.

    JB have been known in the past to hand out false documents regarding CCJs to intimidate. Do check with the courts however. Posting of said items up here will be interesting if you can do it?
