UKPC - PCN issued outside my door, can I still appeal?
Hi guys and girls,
Am new to the site (1st posting) and wanna speak to you regarding a company you may have heard of.... UKPC
Right, I know about all the threads on here regarding the fact that if parked in a private car park then the contract is with the driver and not the registered keeper etc.....
I have a twist to this now.... I received a pcn for not displaying a permit when my car was parked outside my flat in a private development but in my allocated parking bay.
If I write to quote the driver not the registered keeper is liable will they throw it out the window because the fact that the car is registered to me at the address of the PCN mean that I would have been the driver too?
If this occurred anywhere else I would have no hesitancy to appeal but as it was literally on my door step, I'm not too sure.

Are you the freeholder or leaseholder of the space?

No - it's them that don't have a leg to stand on.
You're falling into their trap - you a) want to communicate with them b) think you can reason with them and c) think this 'fine' is somehow legitimate.
• do not pay
• do not contact them
• ignore their silly threatening letters
• they will give up and go away
If I was in a situation where I'd get a stupid toytown ticket in MY OWN PARKING SPACE I'd never display the permit and see how many bits of tat I could accumulate.
Relax. Just ignore the jokers. There is no appeal process. No private company will turn away cash by accepting 'appeals'.
